Tech drama at its best!
Our man Sam Altman is back with the same mission but not the same board.

(Total read time: 6 minutes)
Good morning folks! It’s 6 on the clock in the morning and we’re here to get you started with your day. We hope you had an amazing week! Grab a quick cup of coffee because we have some cool news for you. Letsgooo🔥
“Idhar Chala Main Udhar Chala”- Sam Altman(probably)😏
This week was one of the craziest weeks in all of Silicon Valley as Sam Altman, the face of AI lived a Steve Jobs moment for 3 days haha.
In a plot twist worthy of a Hollywood blockbuster, the saga of OpenAI's CEO shuffle reads like a comedy of errors, with more twists and turns than a rollercoaster. Sam Altman, the protagonist of this corporate drama, is making a comeback that not even the most imaginative scriptwriter could have predicted. The attempted boardroom coup turned into a boardroom comedy, with former president Greg Brockman also reprising his role in the ensemble cast.
In a statement that probably had more drama than a Shakespearean play, OpenAI announced the return of Altman and the formation of a new board featuring characters like Bret Taylor, Larry Summers, and Adam D’Angelo. D’Angelo, a holdover from the previous board, apparently adds a touch of continuity to this sitcom. Microsoft, playing the role of the financial heavyweight, is eager to secure a seat on the expanded board to avoid any more "surprises." It seems CEO Satya Nadella is tired of plot twists and just wants a straightforward storyline.
AI can give better forecasts than Super-Computers!
In a groundbreaking development, Google DeepMind's GraphCast Al, a machine learning algorithm, has demonstrated superior weather prediction capabilities compared to traditional supercomputer based methods. The model claims to provide more accurate 10-day forecasts in minutes, outshining the High-Resolution Forecast (HRES) system used by the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF), currently considered the gold standard in weather simulation.
You can now talk with ChatGPT!
OpenAI's ChatGPT voice chat feature, initially available to Plus and Enterprise subscribers, is now rolling out to all free users on mobile. Introduced in September for Android and iOS, the voice chat feature allows back-and-forth conversations with the chatbot. OpenAI's co-founder Greg Brockman announced the wider release, emphasizing the focus on conversations, but he also recognized potential risks.

Nothing’s vision to bring iMessage to Android is now a horror story.
Sunbird, the Android app offering iMessage functionality(Nothing is working with this company), has temporarily halted its service to investigate security concerns. Sunbird will examine reports suggesting the messages lack end-to-end encryption. Launched in 2022 with features like encryption and no message data collection, Sunbird collaborated with Nothing for the launch of Nothing Chats (it was pulled from Play Store just one day after its launch!).
NASA needs to develop a spacecraft to deorbit ISS.
Yo! That’s some cool stuff. A new spacecraft to deorbit ISS?
NASA's Aerospace Safety Advisory Panel (ASAP) has highlighted the importance of developing a space tug to safely deorbit the International Space Station (ISS) after its retirement in 2030. The panel warned of potential catastrophe if the ISS were to make an uncontrolled reentry through Earth's atmosphere. NASA has allocated $180 million to develop a deorbit vehicle, but budget cuts may affect these plans.
