🪡Threads launched their webapp & no one cares🤷🏻‍♂️

Zuck’s newest rip-off and a litteral disaster Threads launched their Web version but that also did nothing to bring it back to life. The web version reportedly increased the site’s traffic by just 3%.

In a desperate move by meta, It is now showing ads for Threads through carousel posts on Instagram. I wonder if it’ll work since most people who were on Instagram have already tried Threads and they were not impressed by the Twitter clone(Or should I say X’s Clone).

🎳Google Search also got the Upgrade!💪

Google has finally launched their generative search feature in their Search engine and it’s now available to us here in India. This feature is in Beta and It was earlier only available in the US but now They have started rolling out this update to other countries now(India and Japan for now).🐸

You can now search on your favourite seach engine like you always wanted to and completely destroy the traffic and ad revenue of web pages it is scrapping the data off of. Yayyy!!🤩

🐝Bumble changes it’s policy to curbs bots🤖

Dating app Bumble is changing it’s Policy to weed out Bots that can artificially influence “connections, matching, conversations, or engagement through the use of automation or scripting.”

Bumble also does not wants you to ghost people on dates as it comes under “bullying and abusive conduct” and The app will now count a “no-show” on dates. Bold of them to assume I even get matches on their app.
