GitHub to launch AI-powered Copilot Enterprise in 2024 at $39/month
GitHub is set to launch Copilot Enterprise, a subscription tier for its AI-powered chatbot, in February 2024. Priced at $39/month, it will enable companies to tailor the pair-programmer to their internal codebase. The Microsoft-owned firm also plans to expand Copilot Chat (chatbot that allows devs to ask questions about the code they're working on) to mobile app and JetBrains's IDEs and introduce an autofix feature.
Are we one more step closer to seeing software engineers getting fired due to AI? Only time will tell.🤔
RIP Omegle🥀
Popular online chat service Omegle has shut down after 14 years, citing misuse and involvement in "unspeakably heinous crimes." Despite waning popularity, it still attracted 50 million visitors last month. Founder Leif K-Brooks expressed disappointment in the changing internet landscape. He said he found operating Omegle unsustainable, both financially and psychologically😞
He was 18 when he started Omegle.
Ngl, Omegle was a fun place to be in and in spite of so many alternatives, nothing could even come close to Omegle’s experience and market share. Sometimes I wonder why didn’t the founder monetize such a huge userbase🤔

How can Amazon stay out of the AI discussion?
Amazon is reportedly investing millions in developing an ambitious large language AI model, codenamed "Olympus" aiming to compete with leading models from OpenAI and Alphabet. With 2 trillion parameters, Olympus could be one of the largest models in training🔥 The project, led by former Alexa head Rohit Prasad, aims to enhance Amazon Web Services’ offerings for enterprise clients seeking top-performing AI models.
Amazon has been winning wars silently for a long time now indicating its “clever“ nature. It’s better not to take it lightly. “Olympus“ sounds cool, isn’t it? At least better than Bard or GPT😬
Bitcoin hits 18-months high📈
US crypto stocks are soaring as Bitcoin crossed $37,000, its highest level since May 2022. Firms with significant crypto investments, such as Coinbase, MicroStrategy, Robinhood, Marathon Digital, and Riot Blockchain, saw their share prices rise. The bullish momentum may be linked to optimism surrounding the potential US spot Bitcoin ETF approval following SEC talks with Grayscale Investments.
I’m not surprised tbh. Since Bitcoin halving is nearing, prices were supposed to go up😎
Recent ChatGPT outages were due to some DDoS attacks! What?
If you’re a regular ChatGPT user like me, chances are high that you have been disappointed multiple times in the last few days because of its outages. Apparently, it wasn’t because too many people were using it at the same time. It was because of some DDoS attacks from an anonymous group from Sudan.

OpenAI has confirmed that ongoing DDoS attacks are causing periodic outages in ChatGPT and its API services. Anonymous Sudan, a threat actor group, has claimed responsibility for the attacks, citing OpenAI's alleged bias toward Israel and against Palestine. The group reportedly used the SkyNet botnet in these Layer 7 DDoS attacks, which target application level to strain server and network resources.
