Google's Gemini is a lie?
Happy Sunday! It's time to take a look at some really cool tech news of the week.

(Total read time: 6 minutes)
Good morning folks! Another week, another newsletter! We hope you’ll have an amazing Sunday! Grab a quick cup of coffee because we have some cool news and job updates just for you. Lessgoo🔥
Gemini is the new talk of the town.
So, one fine day Google decided to drop something super close to AGI. Multiple videos, multiple demos, and whatnot. The whole world goes crazy and then suddenly everyone comes to realize that all the demos and videos were staged.
What seemed like anything to anything was nothing but an advanced version of simple text prompting known as Multimodality that OpenAI has been using in GPT-4 for a long time.
We can’t deny the fact that even tho Google was way behind OpenAI but they are quickly catching up. Google has the data and resources to build a model that can control the word haha.

Meta is in the AI news too!
How can the big old evil “Facebook“ stay behind?😙
Meta has launched a standalone website for its AI image generator, Imagine, which creates images from text prompts. Previously part of Meta's AI chatbot, the tool is now accessible outside of Meta's messaging apps. The company is also testing new generative AI features across Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, including an "Expander" tool for Instagram Stories and AI-generated writing suggestions for Facebook posts.
AMD unveils Ryzen 8040 chips. What is Intel up to though?
We talked about AMD’s plan to start its semiconductor design centers in India in our last newsletter. It’s just been a week and they have another big news!
AMD has launched its new Ryzen 8040 series laptop CPUs, featuring advanced AI capabilities and faster performance than earlier models. The 8-core Ryzen 9 8945HS leads the pack, offering a 1.4 times speed boost when it comes to AI vision model performance. It also beats Intel's speed in gaming. Plus, AMD revealed plans for its next-gen NPU architecture "Strix Point," aiming to further improve AI performance by 2024.
Any AMD fanboy here? Me!(Subhamay)
The beginning of AMD’s Ryzen series was the beginning of Intel’s downfall.🥲
Instagram introduces a new feature to boost engagement.
The average engagement rate on the platform is approximately 0.98%, and Instagram has emphasized the importance of such engagement metrics. Additionally, there's mention of AI-powered "personas" that could potentially be launched in Instagram services, facilitating better interaction and recommendations for users. This feature may include distinct personalities like a surfer or even historical figures like Abraham Lincoln, geared towards enhancing user experiences and engagement
Shocked? Me too!
Also, is it only me, or does every one of you think that Instagram has such a low engagement rate that it plans to launch AI personas to increase it?😶
