🇮🇳India is on the Moon! 🌒
You can not be prouder than this! Yes! India became the first country to land a spacecraft on the lunar south pole. India also became the fourth country to achieve the feat of touching the lunar surface. It comes 15 years after the country's first Moon mission in 2008, which carried out "the first and most detailed search for water on the lunar surface and established the Moon has an atmosphere during daytime", said Mylswamy Annadurai, project director of Chandrayaan-1.

On August 25th, 1991, the 21-year-old Finnish student Linus Benedict Torvalds made his now-famous announcement on the comp.os.minix newsgroup that he’s working on a free operating system for 386(486) AT clones, just as a “hobby.” It’s been 32 years since he made that announcement and he probably never dreamed that the so-called “hobby” would turn into something so huge and used by millions of computer users around the globe.

GitHub has announced that it will train 5,000 individuals in open-source tech within three years. The company's Head of Social Impact also revealed plans for AI-powered initiatives targeting skilling, accessibility, sustainability, etc. GitHub's commitment includes promoting environmental sustainability and supporting developers with disabilities to pave the way for the future of tech for the greater good.

helloSystem is an operating system for creators built on FreeBSD with a focus on simplicity, elegance, and usability. Its design follows the “Less, but better” philosophy. It is intended as a system for “mere mortals”, welcoming to switchers from the Mac.
